The 3″ x 3″ size option is for aluminum posts; the 4″ x 4″ and 6″ x 6″ fit over post sleeves; the 3-5/8″ x 3-5/8″ and the 5-5/8″ x 5-5/8″ options are for nominal 4×4 and 6×6 wood posts. There is a limited 5-year warranty on the fixture but the battery that is included is not under warranty.
